‘She Starts Monday’ was recorded at Crash Studios, Liverpool with producer Andy Fernihough in September 2006, with ‘Heather’s Loaded = McCartney’s Blown It’ recorded in the same place, with the same people and (according to the band themselves) the “same arsing about”.

‘She Starts Monday’ - for which a video has been made by Token Films (The Zutons, The Pipettes) - is (according to the band) “A tale about that girl found in every office who is completely obsessed with celebrity, and her desperate and constantly drugged up quest for fame, willing to do anything to one day appear in the pages of the Heat magazine she clutches so closely.”

‘Heather’s Loaded = McCartney’s Blown It’, is conversely (and controversially, perhaps) “a modern day look at the fine line between true love and Selfridges store cards”.
